Aside from unaffiliated individuals and members of various clubs enrolling on their own initiative, the club has provided training support and has maintained close links with the following mountaineering organizations:

  • UGAT-Kalikasan
  • Philippine Heart Center (Green Hearts) Mountaineering Club.
  • Intel (Philippines) Mountaineering Club
  • Nature Awareness Club

The club has established linkages with the following organizations:

Veterans Federation of the Philippines (VFP)

The link begun when the club was tapped to plan, implement and lead the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Victory in Mt. Malepunyo (located in Lipa, province of Batangas) on May 12  – 14, 1995 by re-tracing the route taken by the Hunters ROTC guerillas. Since then, the club has committed to provide first-aid support to activities during Veterans’ Week (the week which includes April 09, the Fall of Bataan). The VFP allows the club to hold its meetings and conduct its training classes within the facilities.

Kamalayan sa Kasaysayan (KAMALAYSAYAN)

This is an organization dedicated to enhancing historical awareness among Filipinos. The club has participated, and keeps itself open for participation in climbing activities organized by them to commemorate Philippine historical events.

Communicator’s League for Environmental Action and Restoration (CLEAR)

This group of broadcast and print journalists sponsors public fora on local environmental issues every third Friday of the month at a fixed venue (Kamayan at E. delos Santos Ave., Mandaluyong) from 1030H to 1300H. Use of the venue and the food are provided gratis by VicVic Villavicencio of the Triple V chain of restaurants from inception on March 1983. The club sends representatives to the fora as regularly as possible.

505-1st Air Rescue Squadron, Philippine Air Force

Seven members of the club have trained with this squadron. While the club has not actively participated in any rescue operations todate, it has maintained links with the unit.

Philippine Airlines Foundation (PALF)

This is the community service arm of the Philippine Flag Carrier, Philippine Airlines. The club founding president used to be a consultant on disaster management and on environmental matters (gratis) for the foundation from 1994 to 1999. The foundation and the club have worked together on several medical and relief operations since 1994.

At the present time, the foundation has slowed down on such activities due to the difficulties faced by the mother company.

PAL Dependents Medical Program (PDMP)

The club had worked together with the medical officer of the PDMP on several medical missions since 1994. This type of activity has slowed down for the same reasons cited above.
