Climb Fees

The club assesses climb fees from participants, the rates being dependent on the class of climb and the membership status of each participant. These are allocated to specific club funds.

Notes:

  1. Spouses, children, siblings, parents of members are charged at the rates applicable to the particular member (e.g., brother of a regular member are charged at regular member rate)
  2. Children below 13 years of age are charged 50% of the applicable adult rate.
  3. Surcharges apply to climbs only. A surcharge is levied a joiner who did not or was unable to attend the scheduled pre-climb meeting. This applies only if the No-Preclimb-No-Climb rule is declared suspended, and upon consent of the designate Expedition Leader.
  4. Fees are due and collectible at or before the start of the applicable activity.
